They have teamed up almost two years later, after giving
“Kuruvi” one of the most anticipated films for this summer,
has fetched a record ammount through the ditribution rights in
Kerala and Karnataka.
Almost the entire team that made Ghilli is working on Kuruvi including
music director Vidayasagar
Dharani, Vijay, Trisha and composer Vidyasagar who came together to
create magic on screen with “Gilli”and are back again with
“Kuruvi” the highlight of the music would be Malaysian Rock Star
Yogi B in this movie.

Director Dharani is busy directing Vijay, Trisha for 'Kuruvi' now. 'Kuruvi' brings
DHARANI: "I had a Telugu film commitment. I believe in commitments. In January 2004, I did Pooja for a film, but we were able to start only in June 2005."
Asked about 'Kuruvi'
DHARANI: "We wanted a catchy title. Hence we opted for 'Kuruvi'. I just liked the word. It has an awesome tag-line "Where eagles dare. So go figure" ”.
